Augusta native Jamal Moore provides backup vocals for Beyonce’s Lion King Single, “Spirit”
Jamal Moore, an alumni of Creative Impressions in Augusta, Georgia, has made his own impression alongside Beyoncé on her single, “Spirit” from the Lion King Soundtrack! Posting to his Facebook page, he commented on the experience – “God continues to blow my mind. So honored to be a part of this incredible project with Beyoncé. Go download and/or stream “Spirit” from her new album “The Lion King: The Gift” which drops July 19th. Thank you Derek Dixie for the opportunity to be a part of history with you again.”
The single is set to be released Friday, July 19, and will be available for download on all platforms. Moore also appeared in Beyoncé’s 2018 Coachella performance, and recently returned to Augusta to perform a one-night show, “Christmas with Jamal Moore,” in December 2018.
